Our campers have been enjoying an unforgettable journey filled with fun, creativity, hands-on learning, friendship, and adventure!
We kicked off the camp with an EPIC week of sports! Our children embraced every moment as they participated in exciting sporting activities, built confidence, strengthened teamwork, and most importantly, had plenty of fun with their friends. Every game brought new challenges, laughter, and opportunities to learn the value of teamwork and perseverance.
The adventure then moved into the kitchen, where learning by doing truly came to life! Our budding chefs rolled up their sleeves, explored their creativity, and developed valuable practical life skills as they cooked and baked delicious treats. From preparing recipes to sharing their creations, every activity became a lesson in teamwork, confidence, creativity, responsibility, and fun — and the smiles said it all!
The excitement continued with a splash! Our campers enjoyed an action-packed week filled with water sports, swimming, teamwork, and outdoor adventures. From building confidence in the water to cheering one another on, every splash was filled with laughter, learning, and unforgettable memories.
Our Summer Camp journey also opened the door to creativity and discovery through exciting hands-on learning experiences. Children explored:
✨ Imigongo Painting – discovering the beauty of this unique Rwandan art form.
🏺 Pottery – getting creative and experiencing the art of shaping and creating.
🧮 Abacus Mathematics – developing mathematical thinking in an engaging and practical way.
🌟 Each experience encouraged our campers to create, imagine, explore, collaborate, and learn by doing.
"At Iwacu Academy Summer Camp, every day is an opportunity to discover something new, make new friends, build confidence, and create memories that last a lifetime. "
